A national charity highlighting new forms of bullying of children, particularly exclusion bullying.

Action for Children 
Action for Children supports and speaks out for the most vulnerable and neglected children and young people in the UK.  They help break through injustice, deprivation and inequality, so the children and young people can achieve their full potential. 

Action for Inclusion
Supports some of the most vulnerable and excluded children in the UK, areas of work including adoption, disability, early years and family support, health and well-being, residential services and youth services.

Actionwork
A multi-media organisation that uses film, theatre and other creative arts to explore and tackle issues that affect young people, in particular bullying.

Barnardo's

Brighton & Hove Children & Young People's Trust

Brook 

Brook is a registered charity, and has 46 years' experience of providing professional advice through specially trained doctors, nurses, counsellors, and outreach and information workers to over 200,000 young people each year.

Bully Free Zone
A specialist anti-bullying charity, offering help, information and support to children and families affected by bullying.

Caught in the Act 
Caught In The Act Theatre Company uses drama to train and teach. They work with schools, local authorities and PCTs to support programmes of work that promote health, inclusion and equality.

Choysez

Choysez works with young people aged 7-16 in an alternative education setting.  It works with groups of young people one or two days a week helping them achieve nationally recognised awards.

Combating Obesity

Using a holistic approach, combating Obesity designs,  develops and delivers programmes of education and activity to combat obesity with dignity and respect and to combat inherent bullying.

Contact a Family
Contact a Family have a substantial focus on the reduction of bullying and creating safer environments for children and young people. Their particular interest is in advising parents of disabled children about their families’ rights.

County Durham Anti-bullying Service
Part of the County Durham Educational Psychology Service, has its own website and works with schools and pupils to implement effective anti-bullying strategies

Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Award for Young People
The Diana Anti-bullying Award, which is in addition to the main award, is open to both primary, secondary schools and youth organisations. To date over 4,000 young people hold the anti-bullying award.

E-ngage Development
E-ngage Development is a not-for-profit company working internationally with schools, communities and other agencies committed to making a positive contribution to the education of children by using the creative opportunities of the internet to support learning for all.

East Sussex County Council

Goldsmiths College
The Psychology Department at Goldsmiths has a research programme which covers a wide range of specialisms in experimental, theoretical and applied psychology. Major projects being conducted include the work of the Unit for School and Family Studies, which is carrying out research into bullying in schools.

Healthy Schools Programme
Jointly funded by the Department for Education and Skills and the Department of Health, the Healthy Schools Programme is part of the government's drive to reduce health inequalities, promote social inclusion and raise educational standards.

Kidscape
A national charity that provides training for professionals; courses for bullied children; a helpline for parents of bullied children; and books, videos, free booklets and leaflets about prevention of bullying, many in several languages

Kids Taskforce

NASUWT

National Health Education Group (NHEG)
Made up of professionals whose work has a primary focus of supporting health and/or drugs education with children and young people in formal and informal settings. The group aims to enhance the quality of health education within an equal opportunities framework for children and young people.

National Offender Management Service
NOMS is the system through which the Ministry of Justice commission and provide the highest quality correctional services and interventions in order to protect the public and reduce re-offending.

Norfolk County Council
Responsible for schools within the county, and children's services more generally.

 

North Somerset Council

UK registered charity which offers help and support through a range of free, flexible and responsive services by working for and with anyone who is parenting a child.

PGL Travel Limited
Operates as a Children's Activity holiday company, offering children the opportunity to develop transferable skills, build friendships, confidence and independence. Princess Royal Trust for Carers
The Trust is the largest provider of comprehensive carers' support services in the UK. Through its network of 118 independently managed Carers' Centres, young carers services and website, the Trust provides information, advice and support services to 180,000 carers including 10,300 young carers.

School Councils UK
School Councils UK is an independent charity which promotes and facilitates effective structures for pupil participation in every school.

 

School's Out!
Aims to support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual (LGBT) staff in education and to raise the profile of LGBT people and issues.

Scope
A disability organisation whose focus is people with cerebral palsy. Aims to ensure that disabled people achieve equality in a society in which they are valued and have the same human and civil rights as everyone else.

Spotlights Anti-Bullying Workshop

Spotlights work with children aged 3-18 by visiting schools and providing drama and role-play workshops to explore the issue of bullying and to find ways of resolving a number of different bullying situations that children and young people may have experienced. 

Stonewall
A campaign and lobby group working to achieve legal equality and social justice for lesbians, gay men and bisexuals. Stonewall launched their Education for All campaign at the beginning of 2005 to tackle homophobia and homophobic bullying in education.

TeenBoundariesUK is the only charity in the UK solely devoted to stopping sexual bullying and encouraging positive gender relationships.

UK Observatory for the Promotion of Non-Violence
A national initiative committed to addressing the key issues of aggression, bullying, anti-social behaviour and violence amongst children and young people, through the joining together of a combination of experts from a range of disciplines.

Victim Support
Independent national charity for people affected by crime. Staff and volunteers offer free and confidential information and support for victims of crime. Operates via a network of afilliated local charities, the Witness Service and the Victim Supportline. Currently developing specialist and outreach services for children and young people affected by crime and bullying.

WOMANKIND Worldwide
Womankind Worldwide is an International Development and Women’s Rights charity with a main aim to reduce violence against women and to advance women’s well-being through political and civil participation. The UK Schools Programme Challenging Violence Changing Lives is a core programme in the organisation, and the only programme that works directly in the UK. The Programme has a strong focus on the reduction of sexual bullying and in the creation of safe and supportive environments in school.

YoungMinds
A national charity committed to improving the mental health of all babies, children and young people. Operates a helpline for parents worried about mental health issues.
